2022年第39届国际生理科学联合会(IUPS)学术大会将于2022年5月7日至11日在中国北京举行，会议由国际生理科学联合会(IUPS)组织，中国生理学会(CAPS)主办。国际生理学学术大会是目前国际生理学研究领域首屈一指的国际性盛会,由国际生理科学联合会(IUPS)每四年组织一次, 会议将为来自世界各地的生理学家提供一个学术交流的机会，以分享当前生理学科各个领域的最新研究进展，本次会议预计将吸引3000余名代表参会。

Our Congress begins!
Dear Physiologists,
On behalf of the International Union of Physiological Sciences (IUPS) and the Chinese Association for Physiological Sciences (CAPS), we cordially invite you to attend the 39th IUPS Congress in Beijing, China from May 7 to 11, 2022.
You will get to know Beijing as a center for high-level international exchanges in education, science and technology, given the highest concentration of top universities and research academies in China. With high numbers of world heritage sites in and around Beijing, you will appreciate how Beijing blends culture with modern infrastructure. We are pleased to hold the Congress in the China National Convention Center, next to the 2008 Beijing Olympics Green.
China has a long history of maintaining a vibrant Physiology community. CAPS was founded in 1926. So far, CAPS has held 25 General Assemblies cum Scientific Congresses. At present, CAPS has 11 working committees and 21 sub-committees, including the Young Physiologist Committee. These committees have been holding regular Scientific & Education Conferences, and Technological Workshops. Since the turn of this century, CAPS has increased the pace of internationalization. In collaboration with multiple Physiology Societies around the world, CAPS hosted three International Physiology Conferences that took place in Beijing (2008), Suzhou (2012) and Beijing (2016). In the upcoming 39th IUPS Congress, CAPS will be celebrating the 95th Anniversary. We reach out to you to join hands in our endeavour to make this meeting of minds a memorable experience.
We have selected a congress theme “Marvels of Life – Integration and Translation”. Your participation in the Congress will promise a stimulating and engaging experience to physiologists from around the globe. We have strong commitments to provide for gender equality and to offer the platform for young physiologists to showcase their works.
We invite you to join us in Beijing for the 39th IUPS Congress. You will have the opportunity to meet colleagues and friends, learn and share experience, as well as enjoy Chinese hospitality.

Note: Congress attendants who originally registered for online participation can upgrade for in-person participation at the registration desk or until one week before the congress starts paying the difference being valid at the time of original registration.

Cancellation and Refund
- If the registration cancellation made before March 1, 2022, no cancellation fee will be charged.
- If the registration cancellation made from March 1 to March 31, 2022, 50% of total paid registration fee will be charged as cancellation fee.
- The registration fee will be no refundable if the registration cancellation made after March 31, 2022.
- Additional bank handling fee will be borne by delegates for the refund.
