ABSTRACTS SUBMISSION INSTRUCTIONS

Given that the abstract will be reproduced, exactly in the form it is submitted, all authors are kindly requested to follow the guidelines, while submitting their abstract:

ABSTRACT FORMAT

1. Abstract thematic category: Please select the thematic category related to your abstract.
2. Presentation type preference (poster presentation / oral presentation). Kindly note that the final type of presentation will be decided by the Scientific Chairpersons, after evaluation by the Abstract Reviewing Committee.
3. Abstract title must be in UPPER CASE and is limited to 50 words.
4. Affiliation details of all authors: Affiliation should be created using the relevant fields.
5. Author names: Authors’ names should be added in the relevant fields. Please check the presenter’s box in the case of the presenting author. Only 1 author can be stated as a presenting author.
6. Abstract text/length should be limited to 300 words, including acknowledgements. References will not be included in the word limit. The special character keyboard can also be used.
7. . Abstract structure: Abstracts should be as informative as possible and must use the following structured format:

   √ Background and aims√ Methods√ Results√ Conclusions√ References

8. Avoid evasive statements like “the findings will be discussed”.
9. A maximum of 3 references can be quoted, in square brackets.
10. Abstracts should be in English language.
11. Use only standard abbreviations. Place special or unusual abbreviations in parentheses after the full word appears for the first time.
12. Use generic names of drugs.
13. Express numbers as numerals.
14. A maximum of 5 Keywords can be given.
15. Table(s) or graph(s) which you wish to include in the abstract can be added in the appropriate field(s) below the text. Image(s) should be submitted in JPG, GIF or PNG format and resolution up to 150 dpi. For each abstract a maximum number of 2 tables/graphs/images in total can be included, with a maximum size of 2MB each. Please note that these may be resized to fit the final abstract format.
16. Originality - Abstracts must be original and not previously published in other journals or as an e-poster online.
17. Plagiarism - Abstracts will not be accepted/published if plagiarism check exceeds 20%.
18. No editing or revisions allowed, once submitted.
19. A submission confirmation will be sent to the submitting author after the successful submission of the abstract (you are advised to check the SPAM folder).
20. All information concerning the abstract will be with the corresponding author.

ONLINE ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

You may submit your abstract online by clicking here and follow the instructions. Abstracts submitted via any other means WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

REMARKS

1. Deadline for abstracts submission is August 31st, 2022.
2. All presenting authors must be registered to the congress by November 30th, 2022, else the abstracts will not be included in the program and abstracts book.
3. Submitted abstracts will be reviewed according to the Abstract Reviewing Committee’s rulings. The submitting author will be informed about the status of the submitted abstract (acceptance - rejection), and its presentation type. He/She will also be asked to complete the registration process. Abstracts for which registration process is not completed by November 30th, 2022 will be automatically withdrawn.
4. By submitting an abstract, the submitting first-author confirms that all information of the abstract is correct and has been approved by the co-authors.
5. Submission of an abstract constitutes the author’s consent for publication.All research-based abstracts will be published in the form of an abstract book.
6. The submitting author warrants on behalf of all co-authors and institutions that he/she is the sole owner or has the rights of all the information and content provided to IPA 2023 Congress. The publication of the abstract does not infringe any third-party rights including, but not limited to, intellectual property rights.
7. The Organizers reserves the right to remove any abstract that does not comply with the above.
