General Information & Deadlines

1.Abstracts MUST be submitted electronically via the online submission system by the given deadline of Thursday, 4 January 2024.

Abstracts received via fax, e-mail or received after the deadline will not be accepted and therefore will not be considered for the programme or publication.

2. Abstracts need to be submitted into the following topics:

• ATOPIC AND OTHER DERMATITIDES
• AUTOIMMUNE DISEASES
• BLISTERING/ICHTHYOSIS
• GENODERMATOSES
• INFECTIOUS
• INFLAMMATORY
• MISCELLANEOUS
• NEONATAL
• NEOPLASTIC / TUMORAL
• PIGMENTARY DISORDERS, NAEVI AND OTHER MOSAICS
• TREATMENT
• VASCULAR ANOMALIES & OVERGROWTH

3. A preferred presentation method should be selected during the submission from the following options:

• Oral Presentation
• Poster Presentation 

Please note, oral presentations will be presented in the Oral Communications Session.

4. Once the abstract is “submitted” it can be changed until the Abstract Submission Deadline of 4 January 2024.

5. All abstracts will be reviewed by the ESPD Scientific Committee who will consider its formal aspects and the content. They will decide which abstracts will be accepted.

6. Accepted abstracts will be published in the online Abstract Book. Abstracts not suitable for display will be rejected. Please have your abstract checked for correct spelling, punctuation, grammar and formal structure. The organiser reserves the right to edit abstracts if necessary prior to the publication in the online ESPD Congress Abstract Book.

7. All presenting authors will receive an acceptance/rejection notification via e-mail by 29 January 2024.

8. All presenting authors are obliged to register by Wednesday, 15 February 2024.

Abstract Formatting

9. All abstracts must be written in English.

10. The abstract title is limited by 20 words and must be submitted using the sentence case,  which is the lower case except where capital letters are commonly used (eg. 'My abstract about ESPD 2024 will be presented in Košice').

11. Up to 20 authors can be submitted for one abstract (including the presenting author).

The presenting author is selected first; other authors can be added only when the presenting author is submitted. However, the author order can be changed if needed by swopping the names in the list of the authors. The first name is considered to be the main author.

12. The maximum abstract length is 300 words, no pictures allowed.

13. All submissions should follow the following structure: Objectives, Method, Results and Discussion

14. The number of submitted abstracts per one submitter/author is not limited.

Dear Colleagues and Friends,

On behalf of the ESPD and the Slovak Dermatologic Society, it is a great pleasure for me to welcome you to the 23rd ESPD Congress in Košice, Slovakia.

We have created a wonderful program with the most renowned paediatric dermatologists, European scientists, and selected world speakers.

The congress is the most important venue for exchanging information among paediatric dermatologists, paediatricians and  paediatric subspecialists. By discussing the most relevant clinical and scientific topics, we will address the problem of diagnostic options and therapeutic strategies for clinicians. We support interdisciplinary collaboration in the field of paediatric dermatology.

It is the goal of the ESPD congress to address the most up-to-date scientific, clinical, social and cultural aspects of dermatology.

Welcome also to the Košice city, a famous historical and cultural center with a tradition of hospitality. 

We hope you will enjoy the Congress scientific program, and the city.

Registration fees

ESPD 2024 will be held as a hybrid congress, with both in-person and virtual options available.

All the above in-person attendance fees include a local VAT of 20 %.

Please register for your preferred way of attendance during the online registration process. Same fees for the in-person and virtual attendance apply.
