Conditions for the Submission of Abstracts:
Authors wishing to have an oral or poster presentation of their work are invited to submit an abstract with a maximum of 300 words (not including title and authors’ names/affiliations).
- The following information is required for each abstract:
- Presenting author’s name, position, organization, city and country, telephone, and email address. This information will be used for all further communications.
- Co-Authors name, position, organization, city and country, telephone, and email address
- The presentation preference for an oral and/or poster presentation or poster presentation only. E-publication only abstracts will be offered in case the number of abstracts selected for poster presentation exceed the number of available poster boards.
- The presenting author of an accepted presentation, oral and or poster or e-publication, will be required to pay the full registration fee before the early bird deadline closes (the 14th of July 2024) or the acceptance will be rescinded.
- If payment (or proof of payment) has not been received by this date, the abstract will automatically be withdrawn.
- The first named author must be the person submitting the paper, and who will present the paper if accepted. A co-author can be assigned by the submitting author to present the paper if accepted but needs to have registered by the set deadline and upon written notification via email to info@ispd2024.com
- All copyrights for submitted abstracts will be assigned to ISPD.
- Abstracts presented at other conferences can be submitted provided that the data presented had not been published or accepted for publication at the time of submission of the abstract to ISPD 2024
- Abstracts will only be considered if submitted in English.
- Images must be in PDF, JPEG or PNG format. Size limit is 2.0 MB.
- The authors' and co-authors' names and affiliations will appear in the Congress Program and in the Book of Abstracts, which will be available for download (in PDF format) at the ISPD2024 Website or via QR Codes signages placed on high-traffic spots across the congress venue.
Abstract Format:
- Abstracts should be uploaded following the steps and format of the abstract submission platform. Skipping a required field, or keeping a blank text box, will result in uploading failure.
- The body of the abstract must have a maximum of 300 words. Abstracts exceeding this limit will be rejected.
- Abstracts will be blind-reviewed and should not contain author details. Authors are responsible for removing any information that might lead a reviewer to discern their identities or affiliations.
- Abstracts must be structured as an introduction, methods, results, and conclusion. Tables, graphs, and pictures can be included (tables or graphs should be inserted as an image). A maximum of 2 attachments are allowed.
- The author’s and co-author’s information should be entered into the submission system and will be added to your abstract later.
- Abstracts will not be edited by the organizers and author corrections will not be accepted after submission. Abstracts should therefore be checked carefully for accuracy prior to submission.
Notifications of submission and Acceptance
- A confirmation email will be sent post-successful submission of an abstract. If an email is not received within 48 hours, you can email info@ispd2024.com
- Notification of acceptance of an abstract will be sent via email of the submitting author on June 3, 2024.

Registration fees must be paid in the local currency - UAE Derham (AED), which is pegged to the US Dollar. The conversion rate applied is fixed at 1.00 USD to 3.685 AED. Fees in USD are illustrative only and are provided to conveniently show the approximate amount in USD upon conversion from AED.
