It is our great pleasure to invite you to the 7th Quadrennial Meeting of the World Federation of Neuro-Oncology Societies (WFNOS), held in conjunction with the 30th Annual Meeting & Education Day of the Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO). This year’s meeting is particularly special, as we celebrate SNO’s 30th anniversary—a milestone that underscores three decades of progress, collaboration, and innovation in neuro-oncology.

The World Federation of Neuro-Oncology Societies (WFNOS), established in 2012, serves as an international collaborative platform that unites neuro-oncology organizations from around the world. By fostering global partnerships, WFNOS aims to advance research, education, and clinical care for patients with tumors of the central nervous system. Every four years, the WFNOS Quadrennial Meeting is hosted by one of its member societies, and in 2025, it is SNO’s privilege to bring this prestigious gathering to the United States.

The theme of this year’s meeting, “30 Years of Progress,” reflects the remarkable advancements that have shaped our field since SNO’s founding and the international collaborations that continue to drive innovation. We are delighted to convene this landmark event at the Honolulu Convention Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, from November 19 to 23, 2025. 

Set against the breathtaking backdrop of Hawaii’s lush tropical landscapes, pristine beaches, and majestic volcanic peaks, the meeting’s location offers a setting as inspiring as the science we will explore together. The islands’ rich cultural heritage, deeply rooted in traditions of exploration and innovation, serves as an ideal complement to our mission of advancing neuro-oncology through global collaboration.

Over the course of the meeting, the latest scientific discoveries, novel therapeutic strategies, and emerging technologies that are transforming neuro-oncology domestically and internationally will be explored. Through dynamic keynote lectures, groundbreaking research presentations, and special networking opportunities, this meeting will provide an opportunity to reflect on how far we have come while setting the course for the future.

We are immensely grateful to our colleagues from across the world who are contributing to the program, with a special thanks to the European Association of Society of Neuro-Oncology (EANO) and the Asian Society of Neuro-Oncology (ASNO), who are helping us to ensure a robust, interdisciplinary exchange of knowledge and ideas. 

We hope you will join us for this historic meeting in beautiful Honolulu! We look forward to celebrating the progress we have achieved together and ushering in a new era of advances and discovery.
