The Society of Anesthesiologists of Nepal (SAN) is pleased to announce its 24th annual conference, SANCON - ASPA 2025, to be held on April 4th – 5th, 2025 at Hyatt Regency, Kathmandu. This year’s event, organized in collaboration with the Asian Society of Paediatric Anesthesiologists (ASPA), will focus on pediatric anesthesia. The conference aims to gather experts, professionals, and enthusiasts in the field of anesthesia, critical care, and pain medicine. Notably, ASPA experts in pediatric anesthesia will be highlighted.

SAN is a non-profit organization dedicated to advocating for the rights of anesthesiologists, with a current membership of around 600.

Kathmandu, the conference city and capital of Nepal, offers a captivating blend of ancient traditions and modern aspirations. Visitors can explore UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Swayambhunath (the Monkey Temple) and Durbar Squares (Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, and Patan), or embark on thrilling adventures in the nearby Himalayan mountains.
