The ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2025 will take place on 19-21 June 2025 in Vienna, Austria
Once again, this edition will feature the innovative LIVE Plus format, which will provide a wealth of opportunities for exchange of ideas among delegates.
This conference is dedicated to advancing our understanding of gynecological cancers, including ovarian, cervical, uterine, vaginal, and vulvar cancers. Through a series of keynote lectures, panel discussions, and interactive sessions, we aim to foster collaboration, share cutting-edge research, and discuss innovative treatment modalities that are transforming patient care.

Outcome notifications
Outcome notifications of regular abstracts are expected to be made available to first authors and submitters by late April 2025.
Abstract presenter registration
The presenting author or the designated replacement presenter must be registered by 28 May 2025. Should the Presenter (or designated replacement presenter) not be registered by 28 May 2025, the abstract will be excluded from presentation in the ESMO Gynae Congress 2025 programme, and removed from the online programme and publication in the ESMO Gynae Congress 2025 Abstract Book.
Presentation and publication of accepted abstracts
The ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2025 Scientific Committee will select abstracts for presentation during the Congress and determine the format of the presentations from the following possibilities:
- Proffered Paper – Oral presentations by authors presenting original data of superior quality, followed by expert discussion and perspectives.
- Mini Oral – Short oral presentations by authors presenting data of good quality, followed by expert discussion and perspectives.
- Poster – Paper poster presentation for review and discussion onsite. Presenting authors must attend the Congress in person to represent their work. Preparation of an e-Poster file is also mandatory for inclusion in the Congress Virtual Platform and onsite digital screens.
- E-Poster – Electronic poster in PDF format for inclusion in the Congress Virtual Platform and onsite digital screens. Presenting authors of ePosters are not required to attend the Congress in person to represent their work. Paper posters are not to be prepared, and poster boards will not be provided.
All accepted abstracts, will be published online in the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2025 Abstract Book, a supplement to the official ESMO journal, ESMO Open.
Publication schedule of accepted abstracts
Abstracts accepted for presentation during the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2025 Congress will be released online according to a schedule which will be available on the ESMO website in due time.
ESMO Merit Travel Grant
A restricted number of ESMO Merit Travel Grants to the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2025 are available, upon application, to first author (= presenter) who submit abstracts considered to be deserving of recognition. Candidates must be ESMO Members under the age of 40. Selection will be made by the ESMO Gynaecological Cancers Congress 2025 Scientific Committee on a competitive basis from among the accepted abstracts.

Registration fees and deadlines
Individual registration will remain open for the duration of the congress. The ESMO Congress Secretariat must receive one completed registration per participant and the corresponding payment in EUR by the given deadlines.
ESMO membership must be active ten (10) working days prior to the registration, to be eligible for the reduced member registration fee. Please visit the membership page on esmo.org to check eligibility criteria, benefits, and to complete the membership application.

Webcasts
The official sessions and Industry Satellite Symposia will be available on-demand on the virtual congress platform until Monday, 23 June 2025 at 16:00 CEST, to all registered delegates and ESMO members.
Once the virtual congress platform is closed, the on-demand content will be transferred to OncologyPRO.
