We would like to inform you that the 26th Japan Osteoporosis Society will be held for three days from October 11th (Friday) to October 13th (Sunday), 2024 in Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture. The theme for the prefectural academic conference has already been adopted by the Kanazawa Bone Health Society, which has a history of promoting osteoporosis awareness in Ishikawa Prefecture, so we kept the Kanazawa Bone Health Society in mind when considering the theme for the conference. We have a history of conducting osteoporosis awareness activities in Ishikawa Prefecture. This is because the slogan of the Society to Protect Osteoporosis is "From Kanazawa to the World, Stop the Osteoporosis."
In order to spread the word that the conference will be held in Kanazawa City, which was known as the ``Kaga Hyakumangoku culture'' during the feudal period, we will set up a homepage and a dedicated LINE site to publicize the event. The general abstract submission period is from January 16, 2024 (Tuesday) to March 5, 2024 (Tuesday). We look forward to receiving your lecture registration. On Saturday, March 16, 2024, it was decided that the Hokuriku Shinkansen Tsuruga extension will open in 2024. We hope that you will come to Kanazawa in Ishikawa Prefecture in October and enjoy not only academics but also culture. You can also enjoy history, culture, and food.
