Dear Colleagues and Friends,

It is with great honor and deep responsibility that we welcome you to the SIOP Asia 2027 Congress, to be held in the vibrant capital of Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

Asia is home to more than half of the world’s children and to some of the greatest disparities in pediatric cancer outcomes. This reality defines our mission. SIOP is not only a scientific community, but it is also a movement: to ensure that where a child is born should not determine whether that child survives cancer.

Uzbekistan is a powerful and symbolic host. A country standing at the historic meeting point of cultures and ideas along the Silk Road, and now rapidly modernizing its healthcare and scientific infrastructure, it reminds us that progress in pediatric oncology depends on the same spirit that built those ancient trade routes: connection, exchange, and the willingness to bring distant knowledge home. This Congress will bring together clinicians, researchers, nurses, policymakers, advocates, and partners from across the region and beyond to share science, exchange experience, and build solutions that are relevant, realistic, and impactful.
