2026年第17届亚洲超声医学与生物学联合会(AFSUMB)大会将于2026年3月12-14日在越南岘港举行。来自亚洲各地的众多教授、博士和杰出领导人将齐聚一堂，以讨论近期出现的热点问题，交流超声医学和生物学领域的最新信息，预计有来自世界各地的2500余名专业人士与会。

1. Abstract Submission Process
Abstracts must be submitted in English using the official template provided by the Organizing Committee.
Abstract Content: Scientific Research or Case report, and choose to present in one of two formats: Oral presentation or Poster presentation.
Applicants are allowed to submit an unlimited number of abstracts.
Once the abstract has been accepted, the speaker must pay the registration fee to confirm attendance at the congress. This fee (and grant) will be refunded in cash at the Congress.
2. Registration Fee Payment, Refund, and Benefits (for the accepted report)

Log in to your account on the website and pay the registration fee as a regular delegate (within 5 days after receiving the notification email from the organizing committee).

Submit your portrait photo, CV, passport number, and an image of your passport information page to the Organizing Committee via email: afsumb2026@gmail.com

Each presenting author will receive only one grant, regardless of the number of abstracts accepted.
The registration fee will be reimbursed in cash to the presenters, along with the grant.
Note: Travel and Accommodation expenses are NOT covered by the organizers, except for presenters in the AFSUMB Young Investigator Session.

We are honored to extend our warm invitation to you to attend AFSUMB - VSUM 2026, a premier international scientific event in the field of ultrasound in medicine. This congress will be held in the beautiful coastal city of Da Nang, Vietnam, from March 12 to 14, 2026, at the Ariyana International Convention Center.
For the first time, Vietnam will host the 17th Congress of the Asian Federation of Societies for Ultrasound in Medicine and Biology (AFSUMB), in conjunction with the 8th National Congress of the Vietnamese Society of Ultrasound in Medicine (VSUM). This marks a significant milestone in the advancement of ultrasound medicine both regionally and globally.
Da Nang, the cultural and tourism hub of Central Vietnam, offers a harmonious blend of natural beauty, rich heritage, and warm hospitality. Its pristine beaches and iconic landmarks promise not only academic engagement but also memorable experiences for all attendees. This congress is not only a platform for scientific exchange but also an opportunity to connect, unwind, and explore.
The event will feature numerous distinguished speakers from Vietnam and abroad, along with hundreds of delegates including clinicians, researchers, and students from across Asia and the world.
The congress theme, “New sound for life, new sight for mind”, is more than a slogan - it is a declaration of purpose for modern ultrasound medicine. “New sound for life” reflects the transformative power of ultrasound technology - not merely for diagnosis, but as a life-saving tool that enhances treatment and opens new therapeutic possibilities. “New sight for mind” represents a renewed clinical vision - where ultrasound imaging deepens our understanding of the human body, disease mechanisms, and holistic approaches to care.
